<u>FULLTIME:</u>
Bulldogs16 (<u>Tries:</u> Vagana, Anasta, Marteene; <u>Goals:</u> El Masri 2/4)
Parramatta24 (<u>Tries:</u> Hindmarsh, Donald, Vaeliki; <u>Goals:</u> Jason Taylor 6/7) UNBELIEVABLE The Eels have come home in a VERY unconvincing and ref-assisted win (You can't tell me it wasn't - between the 50th and 60th mins Parra got a million penalties). The Bulldogs were in it right up until an unbelieveable try went the Eels way at 79:30 mins. Overall a great game, but the Dogs deserved at least one point. Dog

Nice to see that Dog was showing who he supports in his assesment of the game. But it's Parramatta v Canterbury- Fairness when assessing the game should be thrown out the window!

If that was an "unconvincing" win from Parramatta, I'd hate to see them convince me- they'd be Godlike!

P.S. Quote from Peter Sterling "The Way Rugby League should be"- both teams tonight back up Sterlo's call.

Cheers.

What a great tough game of footy. No blowouts and both sides are to be commended on their efforts last night. Canterbury asked every possible question of Parramatta and it looked as though the Dogs may get home after the Marteene try. To Parra's credit they hung in and did not panic in what was a semi final type atmosphere. I was exhausted after the game. The nervous energy at the gorund takes a lot out of you. I almost got into a brawl with my brother in law who was going for the dogs and he pushed me over after the Marteene try. I almost threw him over the balcony and told him I would have the last laugh(which I did). Funny thing was, he's a Saints supporter and I follow Canberra, but in a match like that you can't sit on the fence. No divided loyalties.
