To those saying they have memberships and hence boycotting the game will not deprive the club of any money....remember, Every snack and beverage stand at the stadium employs people.

If you do not go, you do not spend at such stands and hence the costs of employing those people will outweigh the sales of inflated priced hot chips and beer!

boycoting games not buying things what will it achieve.Perhaps your club should boycoy you.You should go to a nsw cup game and talk to wests supporters and norths supporters newtown supporters and ask them what happens to there clubs that have no money

AFL will be laughing....
GWS play their very first match on Saturday against the Sydney Swans.

To combat it, the NRL scheduled the Parramatta v Penrith clash on that weekend, so all the western Sydney people would hopefully attend the NRL western derby and not going to the AFL.

Now with the NRL game looking like being a flop, all those that were undecided may just decide to spend their hard-earned to go to the AFL.

Now the GWS will probably get smashed by by the Swans, but then again it's not that often you get the chance to attend the very first match of a new footy team.

You would have to be an idiot to pay 'hard-earned cash' to see the AFL considering they are giving away free tickets like there is no tomorrow.

The players showed absolutely nothing tonight.

Why should we fork out our hard earned to go and watch a team of players who do not work for their hard earned?

No Passion. No Pride. No Power.

Do not attend the game on Friday.

Let the guys run out in front of a crowd-less grandstand.

Protest the players efforts this season so far.

Protest the board room chaos.

The only way they will hear us.

Hit up facebook, twitter, radio...everything.

You and anyone else who agrees to this are f**king pathetic. Get back off the bandwagon if you can't hack it

Boycotting games?? You're kidding me. Dont bother coming back when we start winning games, cause our club doesnt need supporters like you.

Sadly it's a fact of life
When the team is going shit, crowds are down, merchandise sales are down etc
Look at 09, record crowd for a semi final record merchandising sales. Everyone wants to be a part of success.
I remember goIng to the stadium having shitty seats then being able to upgrade to near the halfway line because of poor attendances back in the 90's
The bandwagon has been around and will continue to be long after we're gone.

What an absolute disgrace. Saw this thread yesterday and just ignored it but when hearing on the news that some fans started a facebook page saying to sack Kearney or Boycott the game friday night, I felt so embarrassed.
Who ever is involved is A ABSOLUTE DISGRACE. Never ever call yourself a Parra supporter, you're Parra PRETENDER. We competed in the first two rounds against good opposition without our best player/s. To call for this after a heavy loss is disgraceful.
Here are some facts for you taht will make you look like a tool.
Hayne - our best player, one of the best in the world. For mine he's in a select few, up there with Thurston and Benji who can carry a team on their own for extended periods of time. Well he's played 10 mins and we were on fire while he was on the field.
Hindmarsh - out against Warriors and should never have played last night. He was a passenger after still being ill. He's on of our best defenders and players.
Ben Smith - one of the one on one tacklers in the comp. With Hindy our best 2 defenders and both have been missed not being fit.
Fui Fui - missed last night, our biggest go forward threat
Loko - one of the best young backs to come through the juniors in recent years and is sorely missed.
Maitua - distrupted pre-season, played no trials and came back round 2
Willie - see Maitua
Parra have easily the worst injury toll/distruption this season. Have you ever thought that this has been against us. Roosters played worse than us on a dry track today and have all their players and guess what, they WON despite playing worse.
NumberOne, can I ask are you married? I highly doubt it even if you were old enough. Why I ask is, based on this argument, one bad performance by your wife you'd just boycott her and move onto the next one.

May I ask what is so wrong with that?
