I'll be there at the game next week but if we lost be 30 I think I'll track down Bob Bentley or another director and ask if they'll refund my ticket. According to Stagger they're very approachable and will answer questions if you confront them at games so it cannot hurt.

I'm guessing if you're speaking like this you won't be able to find them.

Pathetic thread by easily the worst poster on here, this is the same pea hearted dog who info ripped Loko on debut. We don't need fans like you f**k off you bandwagoning skid mark. Anyone who dogs their team isnt a fans arsehole.

Change your name to Numbertwo.
This is the worst crap I have ever read on this site.

Why did you settle on the user name "NumberOne"? It definitely isn't number one fan.
its because he's weak as piss

even if every single eel fan didnt turn up the stadium wouldnt be empty the panthers fans would still be there and how would that be good for the players?
rather than fire them up i think it would only demoralise them even more than they already are and make them play worse not better

Were we this bad at the beginning of 2009 ? I can't remember. Therapy has helped be block much of Parra's past.

What a stupid and pointless thread. Yes they played badly tonight but to say boycott the stadium jeez. I will be there loud an proud on friday night. You numberone don't step foot in the stadium the last thing parra needs is that type of support. Parra till I die and through the good times and bad I have a blue and gold heart. We will be back and I can't wait to bring this thread back up on Friday night after we beat the panthers by 20.
i agree and i'll try to be there myself the one thing that i think will fire the boys up and make them beat penrith is if there's still a good turnout friday night even after we have been smashed from pillar to post by the media all week (and we will be)
if they walk out to see a sea of blue and gold and the parra chant echoing around the stadium they will all know the fans haven't given up on them even if everyone else has

Some very interesting responses in this thread.

To me it shows the variety of responses by the passionate to the very poor start to this season( deja vu)

it always interests me to hear the bandwagoner title trotted out to describe someone with a different response to frustration than yourself. It's as if that is somehow inferior to a 'die hard' fan who knows infinitely more about supporting the Eels than the bandwagoner type.

in the end this sort of response is really elitism and does little for the real cause- one the bandwagon labeller claims is so close to their heart.

Anyway,I might be there Friday night.depends on the weather and the offers.

To those saying they have memberships and hence boycotting the game will not deprive the club of any money....remember, Every snack and beverage stand at the stadium employs people.

If you do not go, you do not spend at such stands and hence the costs of employing those people will outweigh the sales of inflated priced hot chips and beer!

Do the eels or the stadium get that food money?
I would have thought the eels get the merchandise, doubles tickets etc but not food

Anyone who thinks it is a good idea to boycott the team, should.

It's about time us fans had a no d!ckhead policy too.

This thread is up there with the countless hagan love threads swifty posted as the worst ever.

Boycotting parra stadium is about as dumb an idea as calling off player contract negotiations until we start winning.

The players showed absolutely nothing tonight.

Why should we fork out our hard earned to go and watch a team of players who do not work for their hard earned?

No Passion. No Pride. No Power.

Do not attend the game on Friday.

Let the guys run out in front of a crowd-less grandstand.

Protest the players efforts this season so far.

Protest the board room chaos.

The only way they will hear us.

Hit up facebook, twitter, radio...everything.

#BoycottParra

This is a piss take, right???

Yes the performance last night was inept and frustrating as a supporter and hopefully the players and coaching staff realise that, but supporting your team is about the good times and the bad times.
For the fickle band wagoners I am sure you won't be missed. :nwave:

We were mate.

Dragons and tigers at home were truly awful

Maybe not as bad in defence as second twenty of first half last night though

Talking about players not being loyal? What about some fans? Absolute disgrace that you would even want to boycott the game. The boys still need the support from the blue an gold faithful

If you are a born and bred eel lets pack out parra stadium on Friday and give it to the panfers!!!

AFL will be laughing....
GWS play their very first match on Saturday against the Sydney Swans.

To combat it, the NRL scheduled the Parramatta v Penrith clash on that weekend, so all the western Sydney people would hopefully attend the NRL western derby and not going to the AFL.

Now with the NRL game looking like being a flop, all those that were undecided may just decide to spend their hard-earned to go to the AFL.

Now the GWS will probably get smashed by by the Swans, but then again it's not that often you get the chance to attend the very first match of a new footy team.
