this is exactly what happens when we keep playing the "they aren't ready card"

would already be playing NRL at any other club..

so what happens now when we don't resign Toupo & J.Smith retires.. suddenly looking a bit lean in the back row..

Can't agree with that at. Very disappointing.
We are well served in the 2nd row. Smith and Bakuya very good. Graham and Gall can play there as can Taga. I don't see Friz in their class. Can't keep everybody under the cap. So I meant no loss considering the depth we have. Peach also better I think. Should tie him up. Bit disappointed he has been moved to 5/8 to cover injuries in NSW Cup.

Even if Smith retires and Too poo goes we could have Gallen, Bukuya, Graham back row. Looks solid enough to me. Taga and Peachy off the bench or as depth... seems fine.

I agree he had fantastic potential but if it was re-sign him or re-sign Wade... Wade is the go.

I think Frizz is more likely to make it in the NRL then Peachey. Peachey just does not have the build of a backrower in the NRL. Hope I am wrong though

Gallen will go to front row

We should have been looking to resign him.. versatile in his position coverage also

We already have good front rowers and Gallen is a world class back rower... pretty sure he will play second row if that is the best spot for him to play.

For you to assume we didn't look at re-signing him is plain stupid. I am certain they looked at it, did the numbers and went in a different direction. Who says Friz even wanted to stay? It is a shame that it happened this way but losing a back rower is probably the best we could have hoped for.

Gallen has proven he is a world class front rower.. get him away from the edges and up the guts.. the others are good prop rotations off the bench when compared to gal.. Ross won't be around for ever either..

Assumption maybe but what else are we to do when we hear nothing from the club.. the members newsletter is the perfect forum for this information.. I for one would like to know which negotiations are taking place and why such a promising talent has walked..

The planning and filtration for our juniors through to NRL is terrible.. guarentee you Townsend & Peachey will be the next cabs off the rank out of the club..

I used to think he didn't have the build too. I remembered Greg Bird had a similar build to Peach. Both surprisingly strong for their size. Ask anyone ho has played against Peach (albeit in the juniors).

Maybe T-Friz needed to go to free up $$ for T-Someone Else.

Toops money alone won't be enough

Probably why he is playing 5/8 in reggies. He looks even smaller running around in that company.

Probably needs to become a hooker

I don't think that's the case.

Frizell had game time in the NRL. He went off and played internationals. Broke his arm doing it and it put him a little behind. Who was/is he going to displace from the current backrow including those already in waiting e.g. W Graham.

Friz is one that is definitely ready and I reckon The Sharks know it and so too the rest of the NRL. But square pegs and round holes comes into play sometimes.

Dragons will of offered him a good deal IMO. Young retiring, Beaugenius running home to Daddy Benny, Ben Creagh under pressure to come out and concentrate more on his Mardi Gras float.

Then there's Matt Prior

The Dragons desperately needed a Frizell. More than we do ATM

Morris, Vidot, Beale, Nightingale and the Stanleys in the backs and a young pack with De Belin, Frizzell, Merrin and King.. The Stains are building a nice side long term. Prior and Creagh are fairies though and Hunt does not impress me. If they sign a decent 7 they should be back at the top of the table.

Still won't be able to beat Gallen though. Hopefully we land T-Rex

The old decent 7 chestnut.

Captain Hornby is past it and was a manufactured half anyway. We haven't had one since god knows when. Head looked promising but his body was made of straw and Brett "The Bun" Firman only got wraps from Matty JOhns so he'd keep his mouth shut abot that NZ road trip.

He was shit.

Probably Goldthorpe TBH.

Plenty of young fellas around though. How's Chad go?

We produce more Props than Warner Brothers, but we just can't shit out a half back.

I hear we are keen on Ben Hunt from the Broncos and are a fair way along in talks.

Thanks for all that info Ronnie.
I thought Soward wasn't playing last sat night... I couldn't spot him out there.

Then I finally saw him .......cowering in Carneys shadow.

That's all very true however I think Frizell was a better option on the bench in the current side then say... Mark Tafua

Very disappointed to hear this news.

I'm beginning to think that we don't rate our own talent as much as other Clubs.

The grass is always greener syndrome.

Frizz would make more of an impact in our 17 than what Taga offers.

I reckon if Frizz was playing in the First Grade forward pack this year he would be having a very similar effect as what Bukuya has had.

There's no guarantees that we will get a player like T-Rex anyway with the competition that there is for him.

Strange the Sharks aren't going to keep Frizzell.

Why bother with NYC then?

Who else has the cash for Trex? Maybe Souths. Anyone else? Surely he wouldn't go back to Parra.
