You run a online business any where.
That’s true, but home is where the heart is!
They both clearly stated on TV how they loved the Newcastle community & the lifestyle.
I believe their business is home based in children’s clothing.
My observation was they looked a very happy family away from football with a plan.

Some of our old boys will be gone at the end of this season. We need a balanced squad and I'd day Frizell, Su'A and De Belin would make a great back row.
apart from Su'a, De-Belin has already admitted the game has changed and Frizzell is way past his best, why would we want to consistently put road blocks in the way of our future players, havent there been and still are players in the side that are struggling and shouldnt be there, but like everybody else you are entitled to your POV

Hey Coffs
No one said he was coming back......
Article said he had stalled so far on taking up his option for next year
the link was put out there for discussion , as he WAS one of our favourite players
Personally that ship has sailed ..Got more than a handy forward pack now with some promising youngsters knocking on the door......let them in
Tyson was a good player, hard working but never had an off load, which was a drawback.

Shuster will not leave Manly.

As for Frizz, well we have let 2 forwards go with no internal replacements. Past his best, but better than some of the wood ducks we have recruited lately.

I would go for Angus Crichton. Has been below his best, but still has some good years left

He shows a lot of dash and his defence is ok but not brilliant . He has hardly scored any tries in his career and while he has started to do a bit more passing and off loading at the Knights there is nothing really inspiring to warrant getting him back at the Dragons.

We best train up our younger forwards and get them ready for first grade. I think we have several good ones coming through as well as the likes of M Molo and J Hunt who both don't know how to take a backward step and would defend like they are protecting the jewels of the Taj Mahal.

As much as Frizz was a favourite the future is Jayden Su’a.
Only 24, plays 80 minutes. One of the best tacklers in the business and has a very good offload / skill set with ball in hand. Plays on the same side as Frizell too.
If Bird isn’t our other edge forward we need to look at who does / can play that side.
Ryan Matterson has a great offload in him, same with Shaun Lane.
in saying that Moose McGuire has been a standout for us on that edge the past few weeks.

In the unlikely event that there is any truth to the rumour, I still doubt very much that he would consider resigning with the Dragons. He did say when he left that he wished to join a club that had a chance of winning a premiership and the Dragons are no where near that , let alone a semi berth .

The old wounds are still present here , so why would he even think about it . If and it’s a big if he did indeed want out of the Knights , then for his final couple of seasons he would be far better off joining the Storm or a few of the other likely clubs , but certainly not the Dragons .

A damn fine forward no doubt , however he has made the change and moved on , as should we .

The Knights had recruited well in the off-season and had a coach who was not single minded as was the case with our departed ‘ maestro ‘ .

It’s easy to say that they have not hit the heights , but the same could be said of a number of teams . However regardless of their present form , there was no doubt that Fitz needed a change .

I think you will find knights want frizz out not he wanting out. The view is he is not worth the $700k they signed him for. They have problems with a lot of their cap sunk in him, saifiti and klemmer and need the money for halves. Clune also on the nose

All the Knights had to do was ask, we could of told them all that.
Tyson was and is a very good effort player with good leg speed.
I would of been happy for him to stay with us but not at that money..if it is actually factual.
Knights have bought strangely in recent times and paid overs for quite a few.

I would love to get Reuben Cotter he is only 23 he can play anywhere in the forward pack & plays with plenty of mongrel a no nonsense style of player we need with a big motor.

Frizz was used up by Mary
(Battering ram).By the time he worked it out his body was f.cked. So he moved on.
A real top secondrower, kinda feel a bit sorry for Frizz.

Gareth, you are right about Tyson saying that he wanted to join a club that had a chance of winning a premiership, (not likely to be us for some seasons yet) and there still could be some underlying problems associated with one of the players in our side (not Lomax) that would hinder and negate him returning to us.

The thing is though, he has joined a club, I think, destined not to win in the next few years (seeing that they are coming last at the moment), and if he stays at Newcastle until he reaches say 33-34 (he turns 31 in October) and retires, I don't think that the Knights will win one for him. So a club like the Storm for him to join Sims at would be a good option if he can get a gig down there - I suppose lots of players dream of joining a club like the Storm. I know I would if I was 50 years younger and strong and powerful and fast and......
