I don't beleive they all are, but I do beleive the BCCI are

So the ICC code of conduct has a 'British wounds' clause?_goParra said:It takes time mate, India has been independent for just 61 years. The wounds from the British are still there. Give it another 10-15 years.

That's no more fact than me saying that the Australian team are scum, as is Cricket Australia
lockyno1 said:Um..no. Sledging is part of cricket..not to mention we aint living in 1950!
_goParra said:Well then dont freak out when somebody crosses the line.
El Diablo said:racism and sledging are two different things
_goParra said:India is not a first world / western country. Its a third world country, still developing. India is not as racism aware as other western countries. In India you have more chance of offending a person by callilng them Bastards than by calling them black c****. Not many Indians believe that a brown man can racially abuse a white man, spcially since what they have undergone during the British Raj days.
Almost all Indians believe that this fuss is a result of an Indain standing up to an Australian i.e. Its ok when Australian players abuse us, but when we give some back they cannot take it.
I know what you are going to say "Singh could have abused back without using racial words", but according to most Indians thats what he did. They don't understand the racial concotations of what Singh said.
It is fairly obvious that Singh definetely called Roy a "big monkey". I dont like it, he should not have said it & he should have been banned for that. But what also needs to be considered is that, English is not his first language infact he only learnt english in the last 4-5 years. As such his vocabulary would be very limited and when significantly riled would use the first word that comes to his mind.
Again this is not an excuse, but a different perspective on things.
This is why I believe that Sledging should be banned, it should not be OK to abuse someone as long as it is not racist. There is always a chance that the line will be crossed (as we have seen in Sydney). Whats acceptable in one culture may not be so in other cultures.

But this is clutching at straws, pathetic attempt to cover up your players and your boards racist ways.
