Fui Update?

Its just the process dude - gotta let it pan out....

1. Parra DO want to appeal
2. They first have to have a lawyer type dude from the NRL decide if what Parra have written to the NRL is good enough to let them appeal
3. then they will have to do the appeal

Basically the situation is

Parramatta have asked for leave to appeal, which means they have submitted the new evidence if Justice Woods (i beleive) thinks that the new evidence is valid and provides doubt over the original ruling then he'll grant them the appeal which then means Sir Lawrence Street will hear the case and decide if the suspesion is upheld on not.

Thats the basics of it but there are other conditions etc

We made a little money from winning the Minor premiership, some of that could be put towards a good cause. ;-)

Geez its a good angle for fui
Looked like it just went stright over his head while maybe clipping his head. Seeing that angle makes me wonder why they didnt appeal as soon as they saw it.

Oh yeah - I have now seen the footage - lets just say if he doesn't get off (or a huge downgrading - whatever the rules are), then someone somewhere is a major CHEAT!

In the judiciary panels defense, its amazing that this is what really happened in that tackle - the shot from behind, the only one the panel saw looks SOOOOOO much worse.

I think they realised they while he may get a downgrade, he was not likely to get off completely, so he would still miss the Manly game in any case. Also, they didn't want anything else to distract the players in their preparation for smashing Manly, so wisely left it till this week (they had until today to lodge an appeal anyway).
