This is Sarbi (ive read the book so i recognized it straight away), 4 times wounded detection dog that was in the most intense fight in the war in afghan and went missing for most of the following year only to be found again walking through the desert. Saved multiple lives and has earned every medal an animal can and only thing she asked for in return is to chuck her a tennis ball to play with

on the weekend i was eating lunch in new farm and a stunning chick had a sausage dog puppy on a leash behind her. Proper long with stubby legs that was still too young to get the full hang of walking yet and tripping over itself. Has to be one of the funniest sights there is, i nearly fell off my chair. Whisky still slid around on the tiles when he was a pup but cuz he had fox terrier in him he had proper legs instead of little stubs which probably made it worse because it meant he was much faster and ran into things harder to break them lol
