Ice Hockey is a mixture between Field Hockey (obviously), Ice Skating (obviously), and, believe it or not... wrestling! Yep. In Ice Hockey, it's legal to punch on with someone who's for example knocked you down, PROVIDED... that you take your gloves off. That's the only thing you needed to do. That's why the gloves are off in Ice Hockey lol.

By the way, this isn't a pic, but a video of perhaps the biggest Ice Hockey tackle I've ever seen - and it's the Australian Ice Hockey League - between Melbourne and the Gold Coast - 0:40
