Let's just put it this way... in 2 weeks, this movie has already brought in over $800,000,000 and it will break the billion dollar barrier. If Star Wars or Avengers beat this take in I will ban myself from this forum!
Cars falling out of skies... bus scenes that used no CGI... yep... typical Bond!
There was still plenty of CGI used. You don't really think they drove a car from one building into another fifty stories up, do you?
Need for speed used no CGI whatsoever. Neither did Mad f**king Max. It's not a new thing.
Yep, that's right. Happy? Besides on pages earlier I already admitted I was wrong ;-) Nice excuse.
You've already made the statement. It will be you who is not keeping their word.
MAD MAX?   CGI WASN'T EVEN COMMONLY USED IN 1979
As for the car driving through the towers... OF COURSE THAT WAS CGI... DO YOU REALLY THINK ETIHAD TOWERS, BILLION DOLLAR BUILDINGS WOULD ALLOW STRUCTURAL DAMAGE TO THE TOWERS FOR A MOVIE FFS???
FFS I didn't even mention that scene, I mentioned the Bus scene and plane drops. My goodness the stupidity of some people.

Avengers total revenue after 2 weeks according to the above website is: $459,500,000 (foreign to US) and $217,632,476 (domestic, US)
Total: $677,132,476.
Well short of the $800,000,000 Furious 7 pulled in. I bet you're glad I called off that ban bet now for the first 2 weeks gross huh?

I'm not sure it has enough left in the tank to pass it (excuse the pun). Did very well to get this far though, not many movies stay in the cinemas for 2 months these days. Finally, Furious 7 became the fourth film in history to cross the $1.5 billion worldwide mark on Thursday, so kudos on that account. It?s about $18m away from surpassing The Avengers.
