You know what would've been ground breaking? If they had dropped the cars out of the plane and landed them safely all in the one sequence, rather than having to fake the landing.

And yes, I haven't seen this movie, because I have no desire to waste my money on Neanderthals chasing each other in cars for no reason at all

The official name (and spelling) of the movie is Furious Seven - everyone who refers to it as FF7 or F7 etc... are only stating the obvious. Final Fantasy 7 is how many years old now? 18? I doubt they'll refer to that video game in a movie discussion.

Did you even read it?

Razatos told Business Insider that he wanted to rely more on real stunts rather than CGI because he wanted the whole sequence to "feel real" and fullfill audience's expectations. The stunt took months of prep-solving problems. Cameras needed to be mounted onto cars in a way that they would not be destroyed when the cars landed, and the crew had to figure out a safe way to get the cars out of the plane.

Crews needed to figure everything out here because it hadn't been done before to this extent.
