As for a thread for opinions, people who seem to share theirs or who have differing opinions from others seem to have their threads shut down quick smart. The freedom of speech has been greatly restricted in this forum of late, and I am not the only one to have noticed it either.

Opinions are not just "shut down" because they are contrary to anyones opinion, despite what some people think they know. Free speech is a great right i nthis country, but there are boundaries to it anywhere. When people sign up they agree to the rules of the forum.

When someone creates a thread having a go at admin/mods, it is not appropriate and is removed; there are better ways of approaching it. When threads start to get hijacked and turn into a keyboard hero battle, they are locked because it is just pointless to leave them there to deterioate further.

Everyone has free speech, but that doesn't mean you can't just go willy nilly and not expect to be moderated at some point.

You cannot say that some of the bannings and thread closures of late were not warranted, and if you think they were just wrong, then you are lookign through rose coloured glasses.

I didn't take exception to anything. I have just as much right to explain actions of the mods . They are here for a reason. Double edged sword- damned if we do, damned if we don't, but that is the way it goes.

I don't have a problem with people PM'ing me if they have a problem with what is going on; the only thing I have a problem with is it being displayed in a public forum. It proves nothing and serves no purpose. Clearly says in the rules if you have a problem with the moderation of a forum or the way things are run, contact them privately to discuss it.

Contrary to what people think, LU want the FFB to keep a standard to reflect a decent professionalism for the site (as ANYONE would). Would be much simpler for them to just simply remove it.
