Further proof Anasta to Roosters

Phil Gould over the weekend again used his media outlets to push his agendas - getting Anasta to the Roosters. In the Sun herald he waxed lyrical about how good Braith was in Origin, and then backed it up in the Sunday telecast with his verbal diahharea about how 'the ball always bounces his way' and he was best on field when he had an ordinary game and at least three handling errors. Gould is trying to rub Braith up the Gus way so he will provide a replacement for Fittler.

Can't a commentator/sports writer talk about a players talent without a hidden agenda. That's a ridiculous assumption & as accurate as the Anasta is definately going to Union because :blahb: :blahb: theory.

Anasta will go where he goes & it will be known when it's known. All else is unfounded speculation & rumours like this will play no part in the future of the player either way.

If he goes to the Roosters so be it. Souths, Great. Stay with Dogs even better. Who cares............ Clubs lose players to the cap. Clubs aquire players through the cap. Unless you follow the Dragons, Eels, Knights or Broncos stop complaining. You've copped it sweet so far.

I put it forward earlier that I wouldnt bee surprised to see Anasta play for the Roosters in 06 but was reminded of a certain phone call that was made to Braith after the Dogs were stripped of thier points and the Roosters went on to win the GF.

Now Hodges may have been the one to make the call but there were several current Roosters in the background and I don't know if Anasta has forgotten about that which will make a move to Bondi less likely than one to Souths where we all know he has family connections.

Roosters cant afford to keep Croker but they are interested in Ashley Harrison.

Ofcourse Crocker, Cayless etc will be referred to as salary cap victims by Phil Gould..

Incorrect. The Roosters can't upgrade Crocker's contract to compete with rival offers.

Of course they will be. None of those players wants to leave but the Salary Cap will force them to. Understand???

They don't have to compete.

They have an existing contract which they can enforce if they want to.

No one else is allowed to discuss contracts with him unless the Roosters give the OK.

how you can questions anyones intelligence is beyond me "the business"

and If you club was to pick up mason and anasta....you go on to say that crocker and cayless will be called salary cap victims and rightfully so.. the salary cap sure isnt forcing two of the best players in the game into your club though

your sir are a fool of the highest decree

you being in a position to question anyones intelligence is akin to a blindman debating the colours of the rainbow.

During Channel Nine's commentary of the Raiders V's Dogs, Ray Warren was ribbing Gus about the Roosers number one Flegg player, Jermaine Ale, being let go by the club last year, subsequentally going to the Raiders.

His inference was clear; being that the Roosters junior development is not a priority, rather their apparant obsession with 'buying a team'. Makes it difficult for teams such as the Raiders to develop talent, knowing that the Rooters will use their privilaged position to attract juniors to the club.

What a joke. Roosters buy and sell as they please. Out goes Hegarty in comes Monaghan.

Out goes Fitler in comes Firman.....Wait a sec this isn't going to plan.

Out goes Firman (atleast to PL)in comes..........Anasta.

I forsee the same happening to Wonder Boy Brett Finch.

Personally I hope Anasta goes to the Bunnies.

It's HILARIOUS how you can say that Crocker and even Flannery are salary cap victims when Willie Mason has been linked with the club.

How on earth cant they upgrade his contract yet they can afford to purchase a SOO and Test player?
