Let's not pull punches, this move looks dumb as dogshit. A real Kearney special.

Let's play a winger in the centres and outside him put... one of two guys (Herbert & particularly Pompey) who are definitely better at centre than wing. Pompey really concerns me as a winger, too... he proved last year without a shadow of a doubt that he's not a winger. Looked interesting at centre, though.

That's without going into the changes to tackling players in the air this year (defenders can no longer tackle attacking players in the air), meaning Fusitua's aerial skills would be more valuable than ever.

The only way this makes a lick of sense is adding speed on that wing... which it looks like is not even in consideration, given the players they're citing as in the running for the wing spot (it would need to be Stino or Hayze).

You know Kearney is a progressive thinker, always ahead of the curve...

Does anyone get the sense this season is going to be even more of a trainwreck than the last one? I can't remember the last time I was less excited about the start of an NRL season.

Last one was the one where Kearney's team made the 8, I never saw that coming... this one seems hopeless, but who knows...
