Anybody complaining about nrl stadiums should have a peek at the stadium of the team that just won promotion
You talking about Luton TownAnybody complaining about nrl stadiums should have a peek at the stadium of the team that just won promotion
Looks like Leichhardt with more roof and less grassYou talking about Luton Town
Don’t enter the stadium through someone’s backyardLooks like Leichhardt with more roof and less grass
What’s the big deal now anyway, the SFS has light rail that connects directly to Central, the public transport issue is pretty much sorted.
like LO it’s not fit for a top tier comp. Luton know they have zero chance of epl survival in that stadium, hence why they have plans to move into a fit for purpose 21st century stadium.Anybody complaining about nrl stadiums should have a peek at the stadium of the team that just won promotion
Pl minimum stadium criteria on par with super leaguelike LO it’s not fit for a top tier comp. Luton know they have zero chance of epl survival in that stadium, hence why they have plans to move into a fit for purpose 21st century stadium.

Ah so people want higher stadium standards in the nrl than the most popular soccer comp on the planetSL doesn’t have a min stadium criteria and epl‘s is a very low bar.
But clubs arent surviving let alone thriving in epl with a stadium like lutons. Hence why they have plans to move to a modern 23k all seater.
despite a low criteria all but 1 epl club last year played in 21.5k-75k capacity, all the epl stadiums are all seater full stand covered stadiums.Ah so people want higher stadium standards in the nrl than the most popular soccer comp on the planet
got it

so yes we have some catching up to do lol, and having a min standard would help encourage the last few sydney clubs to stop living in the 70’s and thinking playing in sht house grounds is ok, as well as encourage any new cities wanting to join to build suitable venues.
Did you miss my post where they’ve said they know they can’t survive there and are planning to move to a new stadium in 2026?TikTok - Make Your Day

That’s where they are playing in the premier league next yearDid you miss my post where they’ve said they know they can’t survive there and are planning to move to a new stadium in 2026?
And they know it’s sht and won’t be there much longer if all goes to plan. Meanwhile tigers think it’s a good idea to move more games to LO and Campbelltown forevermore, manly and sharks have no plans and refuse to go anywhere, dragons still happy using kogorah lol. That’s where they are playing in the premier league next year
it’s a lower standard than nrl grounds and they were allowed in as is
yes the nrl should improve stadia where it can but the vitriol at some suburban grounds isn’t warranted
as much as I don’t like watching sharks games it’s their home and they like it
not every club has to be massive it’s their choice
Not with the current funding model those small clubs can make profits out of those groundsAnd they know it’s sht and won’t be there much longer if all goes to plan. it’s impactful for the game, if it was just leading to poor outcomes for those clubs on their heads be it. But it looks sht on tv, drags down the games crowd avg and creates a poor perception for the comp. as a whole. Any new comer tuning into a game at one of these venues would think nrl is a semi pro sport.
In your opinion. Many would say a full hill looks way better than a full grandstand, and creates a much better atmosphere. Either way hills are gonna be around for a LONG time in the NRL.it’s impactful for the game, if it was just leading to poor outcomes for those clubs on their heads be it.
