The architects behind the new stadium proposal to "save" us aren't even trying to hide their bias. It's supposedly an Olympic stadium but the mock up has AFL markings on it

The nerve of the afl propaganda machine knows no bounds. The sole purpose of this Brisbane
humiliation outcry is to build the vfl mafia a brand new stadium, send the QLD gov into outstanding debt, and as a result, put all other football codes on the back foot in terms of ever getting funding for rectangular stadiums.

Just like what happened in Sydney 24 years ago

West Ham fans hate it.

It can't be done. The idea should not even be entertained for one second. Proven time and time again. Get it out of your head.
Sure they do, attendnace avg has gone from 34k at Upton park to 57k at the olympic stadium. They have just increased capacity by another 2,500 to meet demand and have plans to get it up to 67k.

Its hard to tell if youre trolling again but f**k me aren't you supposed to be English? Yet you aren't aware of the massive uproar that happened when West Ham left Upton Park?

There's always been alot of noise about how much they hate the joint. They pack it out because there's no other option .

Are you for real?
You have criticised SOP for eons, yet, the same thing occurs in London and all of a sudden it's ok.
I provided photographic proof that the stadium for West Ham is shite, yet now it is excellent in London, yet somehow it is still the worst thing Sydney has ever done, which is true.

Don’t criticise him. He’s a critical analyst. He said so. Got a mighty big ego.

Some changes to the plans, partially thanks to the disgruntled owner of the neighboring vacant land and the proposed shadows from the east stand.

The east stand will be reduced in height and with less seats. Seems the west stand now will have more seats, and the stadium may end up with larger capacity overall. The east stand roof seems scaled back also.

New capacity, compared to the previous figures provided:
West: 7,436 (+436)
- Lower tier 6,280
- Middle tier 750
- Upper tier 406

East: 8,822 (-178)
- Existing terrace 1,936
- New upper stand 6,886

North hill 6,000 (+/-0)

West hill 3,000 (+/-0)

Total capacity 25,258 (+258)

Well hypocritical analysis actually, it's like bringing up the horn blown for cronulla to move games to kogarah or Allianz, yet hull1 can't share with hull2

Pretty crap upgrade compared to what it should have been.

On the Brisbane front, you just get the feeling the AFL is going to get its way with regards to a new 60k plus stadium.

Changes between the plans from April 2024 to August 2024. The lower tier of the east is scaled back in depth but widened, upper tier scaled back also, you can see the bottom left is further from the road. The west stand now has only 1 tunnel instead of 3.
