The fact that labor managed to lose that election shows how much of a shambles they are. I’m a labor/green voter but it’s hard to care about the party in NSW. Glad the stadiums will go ahead though I still disagree with what they’re doing with the SFS and ANZ but I guess beggars can’t be choosers.

Hardly unimaginable. Labor have been a mess for a while now. The only reasons why they got a look was because of the stadium debate, the bad smell of the federal LNP and it was election time. Claws came out.

Ultimately, what was clear to me was that the Libs had a plan for the state, Labor didn't. Simple stuff.

12% interested in the stadium issue. Fitzhead's 250,000 signatures against the proposal meant squiggly in the end.

People in the end since I lobbed in unaccompanied into this world, are concerned about day to day issues, surviving, feeding trying to maintain health ,educating the ankle biters, and knowing if the next dollar will be coming in.Yes the planet's health is important but isn't a day too day worry.

I repeat as Fitz is an SCG member (as a former Wallaby) he gets to sit in the best seats under cover at Allianz.Mugs like us who pay a king's ransom to get a decent seat and get wet and have to queue etc for food for ages, are not that fortunate.

The colour red was not a winner last night Fitz,,time for a colour change on your bandana.

Decent stadiums at last for Sydney ,a city with 3 codes using it, deserves it.The rest of the country have been laughing at us, with our "facilities".

I had a good look at the outside of Bankwest Stadium when I drove past there this morning. Whilst it looks very good, my only slight concern is the back of the stands/roof. It looks very similar to what the SFS was like as the back wall does not join "flush" to the roof, which lets the air in. My only concern (and I hope I'm very wrong) is if it is like the SFS was on the top deck when it was first built, then it will let all the conditions in including the rain.

I really do hope I'm wrong.

You are wrong.
No rain elements will enter Bankwest from behind the top decks. The overhang of the rear of the upper level is large enough to prevent rain incursion - unless of course we have a Cat 5 cyclone.
This has been discussed many times before.

Be a shame if he ever wandered into Crip territory.

He might cross paths with these 2 hard hitting crips
