Cowboys are looking to move their NRLW side to Barlow Park in Cairns (https://www.adelaidenow.com.au/news...k=4a9721fae39985f52e4f86a461dffc0a-1726135271) and take advantage of the increased investment the Queensland Government has committed to the venue (going from $44m to $91m)

New 5,000 seater grandstand (with 1,500 retractable seats):

Some room to move closer to the road there, assuming the road won’t be moved or built over. Plus there are more compact 30k stadiums, AAMI Park for example. In saying that even if it could just be squeezed on to the site I imagine there would access/egress issues that would prevent it.

I assume the parkland on the Eastern side of that road is a no go or they would have suggested it? Far more room there to work with.
