We have approached 3 outside backs for a before June 30 deadline switch, the only name I have is Tautau Moga.

For some reason, we are circling alot of forwards, stupidly, because, you know, the club needs more forwards.

Despite popular internet rumours, Benji was not Todd's replacement. He was Robbo's. Robbo was lining up a Super League deal for 2015. Could still be on the cards.

Club wants both Ennis and Koroisau.

Koroisau would be a handy pick up. Use him with Politoni as back up if needed.

Robson, De Gois, J Morris cannot be retained.

Brown and Penani need to be retained.

Reason being, we have to have a top notch defensive half to alleviate the inadequacies of the other.

Ryan Morgan would be a good pick up for you guys, if you could negotiate a release for him from Parra.

Plays right centre, has plenty of speed and footwork and runs excellent lines. Average defence (not a turnstile by any means) and a tendency to ignore his winger are the only significant downsides to his game but he is a good young player.

He is stuck behind Will Hopoate at Parra and there is no way he is getting past him for a full-time gig at right centre. Parra are grooming one of our best NYC prospects to take over the duties at left centre after Willie Tonga moves on so Morgan is stuck in the position that he is too good for the NSW Cup but can't push his way into a very strong back line.

This is true. For example, the amount of times Wade has sucked in three or four defenders with Loots and Feki on his outside and NOT passed it is ridiculous.

I have heard that the players have lost faith in Sharpe. They had a blow up with him about selection and the players he is looking or helping to recruit next year.

I am told the playing group are furious that Lichaa was not included in the game day squad, and that the club has done nothing about getting him back before June 30.

I have also heard that the players have asked what back line players the club are looking at for next year, and the answers they have are forwards.

We have approached 3 backs about June 30 deadline moves, but none will improve us in the immediate future. Instead we are trying to force Tariq Sims into putting in a compassionate leave request.

Only problem is, the Cowboys will ask for Holmes in return.
