What are your top five future stars? There's quite a few young players running around who have been playing quite well.

Here's mine..

Karmichael Hunt
Sonny Bill Willams
Danny McGuire
Ben Creagh
Gary Tupou

ill only do the NRL because of i havnt seen much of Mcguire but he has to test himself sometime in the NRL to really prove himself. My top 5 would be:

1) Sonny Bill
2) Karmichael Hunt
3) Reni Maitua
4) Gary Tupou

We'll haveto wait and see about that, I don't think he will live upto expectations.

My top5:
1.SBW
2.Head
3.KMH
4.Sims
5.Tupou.

Although I also think that Creagh has something going for him and so too Joe Williams.

Sonny Bill Williams is a distant first i agree but i just wanna know if the people on here rate Reni Maitua. In his debut season in 2004 he played 24 first grade & steped up whenever the dogs needed him to. He can play 5/8 when needed (roosters game when we won 40-12) & but is best used in the backrow (strated grand final in backrow). The try that he also scored in the prelim final was a match winning moment. He is a future rep player & im not complaining about him not being in peoples lists cause everyone has their opinions, im just wondering if you people rate RENI MAITUA. I personally think that he is a great young player & one to look out for in the future.

Whats your opinion of him???

Matua would be playing firstgrade at five-eight for my club if we had him. I have no doubt about that.

I rate him well. He has an excellent work rate & consistent but I wouldn't put him in the top 5 future star players. I imagine he would be like Skandalis, very solid & hard working

I'd have Naiqama on that list. The problem for him is getting a regular first-grade spot, with Gasnier & Cooper in front of him. You will almost definatly see him in FG this year, providing he isn't injured at the same time as Gaz #-o

I'll ignore the obvious ones and throw up a few new ones in no particular order.

1. Iosia Soliola - Roosters
2. Pee Wee Moke - Roosters
3. Troy Boston - Souths
4. Beau Champion - Souths
5. William Zillman - Raiders

All will have an impact if they play firsts this year, especially Soliola.
