A lot? You're kidding yourself. Most are within 10m either side of the posts. He can strike them from out wide, I don't doubt that - but the vast majority of his strikes are from closer-range.

Nah he kicks most of them from out wide Hazem gets kicks closer to the post ;-)

Pretty clear first place according to Big League. Kicked 81 goals, 4 clear of second and more than 10 clear of third place.

Oh, sorry - does % end up being what wins the Top Goalkicker award?

Didn't think so.

It'll be Hazem on stage collecting the accolade on Tuesday, not Burt, Witt or Smith.

Good on him. Hope that accuracy beats your side on Friday. With the Dogs and Bunnies getting up I'd love nothing more than to see Witt boot your side out of the premiership.

There was a chart in the Sunday Herald (NZ) before the Manly game that showed Witt had kicked about as many goals from the touchline as he had from 10 either side of the posts.

3 day turnaround isn't real fair on us.
The funniest thing will be when Murray leaves Thurston on for 80 this week and the Cowboys show the dogs up as the pretenders they have been all year.

well timmah once again proves he does live on another planet to the rest of us. goal kicking is about accuracy and the higher the percentage the better the goal kicker they are. a kicker could kick over any number of goals but if he misses 50% of his shots he will not be classed as a good kicker unless you live on planet timmah.

btw I think hazem is a great kicker and proabbly the best I have seen in my lifetime. witt though does hit them well and if he plays long enough like hazem he will have a fine record too.

So you don't consider Hazem El Masri a good kicker?

One of only four kickers with a percentage of over 80?

Equal fourth best pointscorer of all time.... one of the best career averages? Come on, have a go but at least get it right.

I thought you would say something like that so hence why I edited my post. I think you need to just chill a bit everytime someone mentions something even remotely negative towards the dogs.

Updated match information:

Gates open 5:30pm Local (3:30pm AEST)

No word as yet on curtain raisers. Likely to be something to do with the Auckland RL or junior kids footy or something.
