mick we are no chance both in money offered and life style he is used to.I actually think for the money he would want he is over rated ,He is a winger I would prefer the money to sit till we can get a proper half or 2/8 or center of high class

We need to send a couple of talent scouts out to the country areas and Queensland and find some players for the future.

One of the problems with our junior footy now, is that it is totally dominated by pacific islanders. Although a few of them kick onto bigger and better things, the larger majority of them fall by the wayside. Sad but true.

Sadly Murraybob Joel Orton for one reason or another didn't quite come on this season. Injuries were surely a factor, coupled with the fact the NSW Cup is now a back water and not the sort of place you want to be to press for future NRL selection.

The sooner they change the Toyota cup format from under 20's to under 23's the better.

I would much rather travel to Windsor to see the 20 year olds running around and watch a higher quality level of footy in the prelim game at CUA.

I know it ain't gonna happen any time soon because of financial constraints but we need to go back to the three grades. NRL, reserve grade and yes Under 23's. The under 20's can revert back to the Jersey Flegg.

For the best part of forty years I habitually went to watch the Panthers in all three grades. Great day or night out. Please let's get back to the good old days. These days the information about our reserves at Windsor is almost non existant and that is sad. I get out there as often as I can but it is not the same. Everyone should get the chance to see Shane Blackett and all the other players currently playing in our reserves, for themselves.

I fear the loss of Aiton could just be the beginning. What's happening with Frank Pritchard? Do not be surprised if the Roosters are sniffing around having offloaded a number of there highly paid stars and they have cash to spend make no mistake.

Pritchard to the Roosters would be the final straw for me and I will seriously consider not renewing my season tickets.

Mick Leary's video address to the fans on PI talked about the importance of increasing memberships. Someone needs to tell him membership numbers generally increase with astute resignings and a positive recruiting policy. Something it would appear which our management seem not to recognise.

When you support the Panthers any signing is a terrific signing.

The signing of David Simmons is unlikely to see a substantial increase in season tickets or memberships.

Cmon, there's no way this could be true.
Losing our best hooker and signing the WORST centre in the entire NRL?
... even Panthers management isn't that stupid.
Are they?...

dont know if its been mentioned, but according to weidler penrith have signed David Simmons from Cronulla...

And that also means the chances of re-signing Belly and Geoff Daniella have gone dramatically downhill, but what can we expect from the useless management of our club?

LOL, Simmo can't grow nuts and doesn't have a good footy brain, every now and then he does something athletic and extraordinary.

Transplant the seeds of Gordon Tallis, the philosophy of Matty Johns and you guys have a good signing.

BTW ever since he dropped that sitter against the bunnies, he hasn't seen a minute of FG.

It's not official yet is it?

No announcement has been made, but it's the worst possible signing that could be made. That's enough to guarantee that we sign him.

If there were any clubs interested in potentially signing Geoff Daniella for next season they may have changed there mind after last night. Geoff was virtually unsighted, and when he was he was partially to blame for us conceding points. I know there are some on here who rate him highly, but in my opinion offers nothing and is not first grade standard.

Aiton for Simmo. Sounds good to me. Sorry Penny Panther Guys, but for once, the Sharks got the better deal. Its been a long time coming for us so dont hold it against us. Enjoy! Dolph.
