It wasn't simply that (though Carney did begin to fire).

Our attack was always shallow, and consisted of virtually only forward plays. We actually had depth to our attack in the second half, which gave Carney options and time.

It's amazing what ball movement (and holding it), depth and a bit of confidence did for us.

Hopefully it continues from now on.
