First of all, Essendon have a rich benefactor and have never been under any financial strain. Secondly, up until about 2 weeks ago the players were all under the impression they had nothing to worry about because of the deal that was struck where they would not serve any time out of the game.

So - strip Essendon's sponsors, plunder their bank accounts and fast forward 18 months with the players shiteing themselves for the entire period and we'll see how they're going.

If the club can't afford to stay afloat then time to close them down and start up a team somewhere where they are financially viable.

Perhaps but our main excuse is injuries.

We have had a 2nd string team on the park most of the year. We got a couple of wins when some players came back but then got more injuries than we started the year with.

The NRL is a close comp & teams with injuries can suffer significantly. We were down on troops & then confidence from the get go, hard to recover from that. If we had a good run with injuries, I'm sure we'd be well up the ladder like last year.

Having said that, we need to show more ticker. The Panthers & Tigers had bad injury tolls last year & coped better than we are.

Pretty sure we have moved full time to the gong. Only 4 games a year at Kogarah but all training is down there at Win and the University.

I tried to answer your previous post, wasn't being argumentative. You should try it once. Don't bother with the time. Why don't you just tell us how good your club is again and list the pages of excuses for why they are the worst club in the NRL and then list their achievements.
Come on, I need a laugh....and then tell us how they are going to be some powerhouse and the envy of all others.
