I don't know if I'd call it a merry-go-round. Apart from Mal Meninga, no Origin coach has occupied the role for such a long period of time.

Daley is the 4th NSW coach since QLD started their 8 series run. QLD used 6 coaches in the 1990s, so they hardly back their losers either.
