NOTHING at all would be a surprise to me. Although Gallen hasn't left yet, the writing has been on the wall about this sort of off season sh*t for many many months. No amount of fluff can cover up the fact that this club of ours is f**ked. Unhappy, disinterested and unmotivated.

If the price is right then I think Thompson could be an ok buy. Most clubs would be pretty close to the salary cap and wouldnt the dragins have to pay the majority of his contract depending on how much we signed him for?

He's a solid player and I reckon he'd go alright for us.

Thompson would be a awesome buy if only for a season. He'd be more of a benchie but for us with him being used to replace a Bailey, Gallen or Hilder. Just think of him coming off the bench against the dragqueens hahaha oh boy!

That said I could live without him and all those drop balls but he would add depth and for the games he has played in grade and the price he would be on the market you'd be stupid not to ask.
