I love Queensland but I disagree with how it is atm, because f**ktards voted in f**ktards.

Still I always find QLD 'insults' amusing, redneck is the most hilarious.
It's like someone from Louisiana arguing against someone from Alabama about who has the more southern drawl.

Ya mean y'all rednecks like?

You know what, I understand bad losers -being one myself- I can't however understand bad winners. You won, congratulations, enjoy it.

Haha oh how I hate every thing about NSW rugby league people. Couldn't be happier most of the NSW people in this thread weren't old enough to have remembered a series win.

Queenslander!

Turn it up Shorty

He received no respect from the crowd and had nothing but praise for the Qld side in his speech in 2011

You mean the one after he had just finished directly blaming the refs for the loss? I guess you'll tell us all now that NSW crowds have been nothing but respectful for opposing teams captains.

Happens to them all, some just can't seem to cop it with the same grace and dignity as others.

Well you sound like you could teach your state captain a thing or two about carrying yourself on the footy field. Because he is winning himself no admirers for his ridiculous behaviour. No doubt you would defend him though and say every outburst is suitably justified.
His treatment of the refs has been justified after getting penalised for being belted in the face.

I guess nothing justifies not being gracious in defeat, and I think Lewis or Farah should be captain next year.

Ever thought that is why he is received so poorly in Queensland?
Pfft. Which NSW captain has ever been treated with respect up there?

That said, I thought Myles speech was wonderful - and produced a miracle. He asked for a round of applause for NWS, and about 100 people actually gave one. A Queensland crowd gracious in victory! Wow!

Yes, we regularly bring large-scale national disasters into the equation.
I know, and it's f*cking pathetic. No matter what Gallen did, it isnt as low as this......

A tard who never got anything from the game said:
ON Friday morning, I celebrated my 51st birthday at breakfast with a couple of friends at the cafe atop the Kangaroo Point cliffs in Brisbane. As we ate, I took in the panoramic view of Brisbane's central business district beneath a clear winter sky and saw a city that reflected the Queensland State of Origin team.
Looking across the river to the gleaming buildings of the CBD, it was easy to forget that not so long ago this was a city with a broken heart.
Back in January, that same picturesque river did its best to bring Brisbane to its knees, delivering devastating floods that swamped parts of the city and that added to the agony of Queenslanders across the state in a summer of disaster.
But on Friday, I saw a city and a state that have emerged from their darkest hours to once again stand proud and successful.

In each building, standing defiantly over the very river that tried to drown them, I saw the reflection of every player who has played for Queensland - especially the team this year in our toughest Origin campaign.............

Pick any thread you like, I'm sure there's a QLD fan in there wish fire and brimstone upon the entire state
Pretty much.

That mal story is amazing and sums up just how lucky we are to be from the right side of the border

Poor Gal.

He spent the whole game whinging and pinching players he was tackling.

And for bugger all in the final analysis.

Despite engaging in yet another running battle with the whistleblowers, skipper Paul Gallen refused to say the calls cost his team.

"I can't blame the refs for anything," he said.

"There was another call when they said they'd check a strip at the scrum, and then they didn't.

"But then we had a call go our way.

"There was nothing from the refs that cost either team, it was just a cracking game."

Yeah, looks like Gallen was blaming the refs for the loss hey? Stupid Queenslanders.

Seriously, Gallen did what any good captain would do. You have to pile pressure on the refs, especially when you aren't getting the rub of the green.

Cameron Smith is the best in the game at doing it. He just wanders up, and has a chat. Poor old Gal is buggered and out of breath from carrying a whole state on his shoulders and can hardly get the words out!

I speak to all these Queenslanders who speak so loving of the deep north when their state wins. I often wonder if they love the place so much why are they living in NSW.

Ii guess some of you are too young to remember the reception Wally Lewis got in NSW. Admittedly he didn't give too many speeches after losing a series but still you poster South of the border are acting like your crowds show nothing but the utmost respect for the mighty Qld team.

As for not helping during a flood are you seriously comparing Gallon being booed to not helping people who have lost everything ? Lighten the f**k up and get some perspective

Could say the same for the multitude of New South Welshman living in QLD, quite a few of whom are prominent in these forums....

So what only people who live in Qld can go for Qld in the origin ?

If you go overseas to say england and the kangaroos are playing do you suddenly barrack for the poms ?

There's a difference between booing someone, and just unloading on the State as a whole.

I've got no issue helping you poor bastards out with the flood. I do have a problem if ANY of my money went into rebuilding Lang Park. I'd love to see that joint flooded again! Hate the place!

PS. The person is Gallen. The shitload of water you had in your loungeroom could be measured by the "gallon".

Deadset if you really think the refs 'favour' Queensland you are friggin deluded, and out to make excuses.

Like I said, take it like a man. Surely at least one of you will.

When did I say they favoured Qld? Where? I said I feel his frustration mate, the frustration of not being able to win in the last 7 years.

You know what mate, go f**k yourself, seriously. I have not once made excuses for NSW losing in here. Not. One. Single. Time. Im angry, gutted and shitty that I have to listen to the enormous jizz fest that is the Qld media today but I can also acknowledge the fact that my team made critical mistakes at critical times that ultimately cost them, again.

FFS, pull your head out of your arse
