He is capable though mate ... he has shown glimpses that when he runs hard he is damn near unstoppable ... shame he's only shown it very rarely
We paid overs to get him out of the hell hole I call "Cronulla", hopefully he'll show a bit of loyalty to us and we ca get him for the same money. And, if we don't surely there'll be no chance that we'll be re-signing O'Hara who'd be on more than Gall, so transfer some of his pay to Gall and away we go - Big Red Stitched up for another 3 years!!
^ What you're failing to relaise is that Props generall don't hit their stride till they're 23/24/25. This is far and away KG's best season TO DATE.
I don't thnk you can put that down to it being a contract year. Genuine props are scarce these days and we're thin in that departement as it is, we'd be insane to get rid off both O'Hara and Galloway in the same year, especially with big Todd in the back end of his career.
Actually he has always been a good defender. This seasons games are the only ones I can say have made me view Gibbs as a long term prospect. If he can continue his on-field progression and keep his nose clean off the field than I will happily admit that I was wrong about the guy.Gibbs is a baby in prop terms ... so is Galloway I guess ... but I have more hope for Gibbs really kicking on. He plays big minutes, is a good defender and very mobile and will only get better. Smeg obviously views him different ..
It was a slap on the wrist from memory. Getting blind is one thing but spitting on a female police officer, thats just low.
TBH I would rather talk about his football and current off field behaviour than dwell on things past.
Also. On Galloway. With the proper attitude he will be one of the games premier props in 2-3 seasons time IMHO
