I hope we keep Gibbs and Galloway. If they go to another club we will wish we kept them. They will be pretty good soon I think. Imagine next years foward pack.

13. Fulton
12. Heighnington
11. Ellis
10. Galloway
9. Farah
8. Payten

14. Halatau
15. Teo
16. Harrison
17. Gibbs

I think O'hara, Payne and Galea are gone but that's ok.

Gibbs, Galloway, Harrison, Teo and Halatau will get better. I think they should be part of the future of our club. I hope recruitment sees it the same way.

Payne signed for 2, possible 3, years from mem ... contract is loaded at the back end hence we got him cheap for this season

I rated the arrival of Payne. He hasn't set the world on fire, but I'm expecting big things from him in the second half of the year.

Gives us a bit of starch. No nonsense meat and potatoes type player.
Was good in his first few games but has gone off the boil a bit
I feel for the poor bloke .. 5 seasons of listening to Nathan Brown then he leaves and has to try and decipher what the sizzler is saying

No nonsense meat and potatoes who gives us nothing in attack. He's a round peg trying to fit in a square hole in our team and he shouldn't have been signed. He's redundant and when we're at full strength I don't see room for him in the 17. How much is he making again? And for how long?

Was it 5 years? I thought he was only there for 3 and at the Wogdogs before that?

Thought he got there in 03 or 04 .. say 04 would make 04,05,06,07 ... so maybe 4 yrs. Still a long time to spend under a dope like Brown. He was sent from the bulldogs for being able to speak english

:lol::lol::lol:

Even though being under Folkes and Brown, he'd have alot of bad habits to drop.

I remember him as being an angry player at the Dragons.

Maybe that was because he had to play with Jason Ryles?

Just on Brown, imagine if Ryles had have been coached by someone other than Browny the past 5 years. Anybody seriously think he'd be making the same bone-headed mistakes if he'd been coached by Bennett or Bellamy is kidding themselves. So before bagging Sheens, just be thankful we haven't had to deal with Brown and his incompetence.

Yes TH but that is like saying be grateful you didn't get your dick caught in a deli slicer, you only took some skin off with a cheese grater. I reckon my mrs could have coached that st george side and they'd have won a comp

Galloway drafted in as 18th man for City
May 1, 2008 - 10:42AM

Wests Tigers forward Keith Galloway today joined the NSW City team as 18th man for tomorrow's clash with Country at WIN Stadium.

City prop Mark O'Meley had been the only injury concern for the City side leading into the week, the Roosters forward still coming back from a hamstring tear.

The City side will complete their final training session at WIN Stadium this afternoon.

AAP

Hope he doesn't play, useless match. We need him on Saturday night.

We should never of signed Payne for 3 years. 1 year would have been fine. He was never going to be one of the top forwards. He is good for some depth if we have injuries in the pack. Actually does anyone know how much he is on?
