The "private" nature of the post is irrelevant. It was posted, to a platform where it was visible to others who would see it and where it would therefore be reasonably presumed to cause humiliation and hurt to the person it was clearly targeted at.
How can someone be humiliated by something of which they are unaware?
For all I know, members of LU could sharing DM's of memes taking the piss out of me.
But I'm blissfully unaware of this happening, and feel not an ounce of humiliation.
If anyone started posting them publicly, different story.
If this was posted to a private group, Turuva would be within his rights to assume Lachy would not see it.
Posting it to his public feed is a different matter.
Besides, if it was so private, how come every single one of us has seen it?
That is where I'd be focusing my defence efforts - get some forensic analysis of Turuva's social accounts and determine who it was originally shared with, and who then re-posted it for all to see.
The thing I find most interesting in all this, and no one has mentioned it, is surely player managers have an obligation to present all offers to their clients.
They should not be able to outright dismiss an offer off their own bat.
I know when negotiating legal settlements lawyers are bound to act this way.
Surely it is similar for player agents and contract negotiations.
If it's not, it should be.
