Surely the best outcome would be to have Luai and AD as the halves and trade Galvin now with compo.
Luai and Latu are too similar, but AD is bigger and needs space to wind up hence ⅝ or centre.
I think Makasini comes into the picture sooner that later too, partner with To'a.

I can't see AD staying in the centres. I'd love to see Maksini come in and be a gun.

The problem with trades is that they don't really exist. We don't own the contract and we can trade him for someone else. If we hold onto him and he signs elsewhere and that club has a player we want then the situation changes. I think playing him in reserves gives us a chance to get a favorable deal for us.

I'd love a trade but it's not like the NBA where you can just tell the player well you are off tomorrow.

I’m thinking now Galvin didnt feel comfortable around the boys and that’s why he’s leaving.. Terrel was asked somewhere recently in one of the clubs off the cuff vids what he thought of Galvin he said Galvins the most awkward guy here.. That could be telling

Are you sure Tiger?
Three clubs, Cowboys, Broncos, Dogs, are involved in a player swaps that will take effect shortly. Maybe trade was the wrong term.
I think it's where each club and players agree to the switch and clubs take over their respective contracts. I assume for it to be ratified it has to have legitimate reasons eg compassionate, injuries etc. as with Gosiewski.
So we break Galvins leg and have him move to Parramatta where he'll receive compassionate assistance from his mates, simple :) Then Parra do the same for J'maine Hopgood.....and all is sweet.
Maybe a bruised coccyx will be sufficient.
Or we could fast track it via a loan, like Harry :)
All jokes aside, come November 1, both Galvin and Luai could be on the same plane together to some exotic paradise.

As far as AD goes, he's playing well enough to be snapped up by another club next year but probably be for 400k and not 800k that he was asking for prior injury.

I kind of had this feeling as well. It's not really something he can admit publicly either, so perhaps he sees leaving as the best option.

It's a massive kick in the dick for us but at least we have a decent back up plan with Latu

This is an ad to sign up to the publisher.
But the headline is crazy, if it's true it would really make his time here in FG untenable, imo. Good, he can serve his contract in the lower grades, if we can't get a suitable replacement offer.

I bet you he gets one.
I double bet it happens this year.
We are in the very rare position of having someone good enough to be in demand.
The media has been over rating this kid deluxe for a long time.
We should insist on a player swap that WE want, and in return his new team gets an early glimpse into some slow, ineffective sideways running.
Hopefully, it's an impact forward or a fast and effective defending back.

There is talk, that Richo is in discussions about a swap for DCE and Galvin?

I mean DCE and Luai as our halves is about as good as it gets but it still leaves us with no place for Latu and Sullivan.

We'd be a solid chance of winning the comp though. We sort of have 2 6's as well and DCE probably suits our team more.
It's not much different to what we already had only a few days ago.
Latu (hopefully) will understand, he is now our future, but not just yet.
