This getting weird, is it smart or dumb?

But Richardson defended both Galvin and Marshall in an extensive interview with The Daily Telegraph on Wednesday.

“What he said to us is he wants to be the best player I can be, and I believe that I can be that at another club,” Richardson said about Galvin.

“He’s never said (Marshall can’t coach). Lachlan is a very honest kid. He’s as simple as it gets. He loves his footy. If he were sitting here with you, he would be twirling the ball.

“He just loves his footy. He’s always had this thing in the back of his mind that he could obviously get a better opportunity elsewhere.

“The bottom line is though from that point of view, Lachlan has never said that in any way, shape or form (that Marshall can’t coach).”
------------
“I think it’s a smart play from Richo, he’s an experienced administrator, he’s trying to show Lachlan a little bit of love after what was a brutal and extremely messy week,” Hooper said.

All a play on words.
By saying Marshall can't coach, Marshall could turn it around and sue them for assassination of his character.
What was on that complaint list was probably more to do with Galvin's development and the reasons why they think Benji isn't the coach for him.
Things like, "he never gave me a hug" or "he didn't read me bedtime stories on the way home on the bus" all fabricated examples but you get my drift.

Thinking about it some more.. even if he ditched Moses I can see where it would be best for the club to move on and get behind Fainu. I'd say that course is already locked in.
Agree, I think Latu is now a lock in for the halves with Luai, but it was always thought that Galvin would end up in the forwards, probably the 13 and get paid accordingly.
But TBH, I'm happy that he leaves when the club is ready for it to happen.

It's still a head scratcher though hey

The club will still want its pound of flesh for Galvo unless we get jacked with the legal stuff.

Im not sure Richo should have revealed the intense hatred Benji has for Moses. Unwise.
The feud is probably well known in the inner sanctum of the NRL system, there wouldn't be too many secrets of that nature.

Moses doesn’t know the meaning of the word bullying.
It’s targeted and repeated behaviour to cause harm.
1 post was a private message not meant for public. Not repeated.
the other was a team first post. Hardly targeted.
He was dropped for 1 week, plenty of players are, they can’t call it bullying,
The bullying letter served two purposes.
1. It was a warning to stop the social media pile-on.
2. It was a show of intention that they want an early exit.
They don’t give a f**k about bullying, it’s all a tactic.

As soon as Douehi is fit I'd drop Galvin and then obviously go with Fainu. Not like we have a hope of winning the comp. Might as well see if Fainu and his body can hack it . Worst thing that happens is he chokes and we know where we stand sooner rather than later. This crap with Galvin just proves he was gonna be out the door at the first chance so why develop him for another club. I'd like to see him on gardening leave but i'm spiteful.

Nearly every player in the Top 30 got allocated a Junior Footy club in the District as an ambassador.
Galvin got ESA Magpies. He played there as a Junior. They have around 35 junior teams this season and he should be down there helping out for a bit here and there with the Juniors. How good would it be for their U15s and 16s having him showing their halves some tricks to their kicking games or some blindside moves.
Anything to get some positive PR. Leave your body guard at home and get out of your house to be amongst Kids that would some day want to be like him.

Royce Hunt got LCC Raiders as a club for him and I have seen some of the comments he has left on their Socials saying he cant wait to come, make sure all the kids are there cos it will be the best training ever etc.

Big difference in attitude and maturity between the 2
I'm no Galvin fan but I was totally different at 29 than I was at 19.

Was talking to a close mate last night who was close to the Galvin camp a couple of years ago.

He was saying that he asked for a release a couple of years ago when he was 17 and in the Harold Matts the season that they won. I asked what would a 17 year old know about professional footy contracts and asking for a release. He said Wests signed Galvin from Parra and promised he would play fullback at Wests. He ended up playing backrow and was very very good but he was getting whacked every week and questioned why he was backrow when he signed a contract and a verbal commitment that he would be fullback. Hence the asking for a release.

Im guessing that they moved him to 5/8 to keep him happy.

My mate also said that he doesnt believe he has been bullied by the players but more so being bullied in the media.

So just a bit of background on the early stuff

So this could all be because we have mentioned his future is in the backrow and Parra have said “nah you can be 5/8 forever”?
All the development talk is about that position?
