**sarcasm:- I thought we were getting a gun player in return.

I feel the right thing typically to do is make the player play see out his contract. At the same time he is just a kid who we haven't put much into and he is desperate to get out for some bizarre reason.

We can't win here. He has been shithouse this season. I wonder if he will come on or not. I figure just let him go.

Stef is a similar example. I think he is playing about the same as when he was with us. He hasn't improved. Bellamy's coaching is nothing special. He can't take a kid with a certain amount of talent and give him more talent. Does Galvin have elite player ability ? Maybe but he hasn't shown that with us.
I did say previously that I don't think we'll get another player but instead we'll be going for $.
If we get May's brother or PP from Knights it will be a totally different scenario imo.

Just move on from him and forget about it...Latu Fainu is no Plan B...he's the same age and has it all. If the club gets a payout, the roster spot and a happy team back then it's a win all the way

So looks like we will get screwed again. Other teams will get stronger while we get weaker.

I would be blacklisting any Moses contracted player from now on. Deal with Bula the best we can but just skip any junior from his stable regardless of how good they are because we know they will leave at the first chance (or before their first offical chance)

We'll get f**k all and it's the same as it was under previous admins. I don't blame the Tigers but it's the way the game works.

I can't see why we can't get both. To me it's a completely different topic to Galvin though.

I don't see this part of the game as screwing us over but we've copped it. It's just Moses doing his bullshit and players who are merkins.

He has Bula. We have to deal with him.

It is not the fact he is leaving. It is the fact he is breaking contract when every other player/club are able to complete their deals dispute signing elsewhere. We have gone from having strong depth in the halves to having no depth and leaves out top 30 unbalanced because Galvin was supposed to fill that role in 26 and we won’t replace that

It doesn't happen often but it does happen. I am pretty sure a St George prop did the same thing this season.

I don't like it but in situations where they are getting a chance or they want big money and they are locked into a smaller deal it does happen. The thing with Galvin is that it really seems he wants out. I find that so weird but Stefano wanted out as well.

This week has been a significant backdown from our club in the way this has been handled. To me, I can only see one significant factor on why......the bullying claims. These bullying claims seem to have taken significant leverage away from us.....they seem to have some sort of legs sadly otherwise, he'd be kept in reserves or sold/traded to the highest bidder. Moses is a prick....but we need to take some learnings from this and just f**k the kid off. He is clearly no longer a trusted member of the organisation.

Not sure about a backdown, I said earlier that this was probably going to blow up anyway, as the Galvin and Fainu decision would of had to be made probably come November, Galvin just made the decision for them.
One of them would have been pissed off.
Luai has said previously that Latu's game suits his, and I want Latu's brothers to stay here.
I don't see we will go any worse without Gal in the team.
If he does leave this season, it does free up money ($350k), it's not a lot in today's market, but it will help and we can start looking around from now.

Bear in mind, we still have Sullivan on our books for the next 2 seasons, so our depth is reasonable. But he's on a shit load of money ($600k/year) I believe.
He may want to agitate for a release as well, but the difference then (IMO) will be our lack of depth, which will make it harder to agree, unless of course we get another half.

I don't think it's any different. The club initially comes out with a tough statement but reality sets in and they fold. It's the way our club has operated for years and to be fair it's the way every club operates.

Personally I think the bullying claims are complete and utter horseshit.

Braith Anasta has accused of “derailing” the Tigers’ season

This pisses me off. The only way Galvin has derailed our season is by playing like shit. It's one person rather than the whole team and that is a piss weak excuse for why we have struggled the last couple of weeks.
