The young bloke who scored has some awesome footwork too. It was him that made that big run out from our own line a little while back.

I'm liking our forwards the more I watch them.

That's the Bubba defence I mentioned last week. Needs to work on that. He's no good with snorks coming at him at speed when he goes high

This last 15 minutes of the game, so many different players out there, dont even know what position they are playing

Major thing i like about Connor Tracey, he backsup, always there when there is a break or kick put through, those are the 1% that are invaluable

Good trial. Played with energy and purpose.

Forwards went forward. Good goal line defence. Some good stuff from spine players

Take you bets, there are two number 1's for the last ten, one is Kennedy playing fullback, one right wing. Maybe Lorenzo, but not Will.

I will accept fealty later.

Missed the majority of the game but caught a glimpse of Royce Hunt and Kaleb Milne, both looked pretty good (in the few minutes I watched). Thoughts?

They also had Woods in # 10 for first half and the other big boppa who scored in # 10.

Pretty standard trial. Lots to like not too much to dislike considering half these blokes wouldn't do half the shit if they had the security of being in the squad and they knew it. Natural to try and impress. Makes discipline fall apart.

Hard to pick standouts so I'm sticking to the first half

Best back: Katoa
Best forward: Nikora
Best spine: Tracey. He was the spine. Hooker, half and 5/8 at times. Has to be in the 17

I liked the work of Roy Sunt, Tobias Rudy, Kayla Milne and Sitelaki. Sorenson was good too. Pele.

Morris was steady. Not too many thrills in the backs actually.

The D words

Defence - high
Discipline - medium
Dopeyness - low

Tracey has definitely warranted selection tonight. He was outstanding, hopefully he’s at 14 come round 1. Will Kennedy was good too, needs to work on his defence though.

Talakai looked like a beast, Rudolf won’t be out of place in First Grade. Brailey looked sharp out of dummy half.

So many positives to take from that trial, and we beat Manly. Hallelujah.
