In any other time in our Clubs history we would be hammered by the media - Why not now?

On Field:

I have stated previously, Nicho was cooked and never recovered from his first State of Origin - we have had to carry that burden since that game.

Cam McInnes - Is not a Rugby League Leader - he is an honest First Grade toiler.

We have significantly over invested financially in our roster.

The biggest atrocity is that as a 52 year Cronulla Sutherland Sharks supporter, I actually don't care anymore. I refuse to attend a Sharks game because of the poor facilities. I have stated in previous posts we have been hoodwinked by the current administration.

A night out at the footy was a night to be treasured and remembered.

What we have today is embarrassing - for the record, the Warriors were paying $3 for the win.

I love you all because you know how I feel and although I will be back again to see the comments my care factor is zero which is the real tragedy.

I've been reflecting on this since fiz wrote it.

My simple realisation is that I'm also in this boat. I won't even entertain the idea of going to a game at Shark Park. The amenities are bad enough to have the place closed down in my opinion and that's from 10 years ago. Lack of parking, lack of comfort, extortive food and drink prices, no where to go to wind down after the game anymore. Nup. Not for me

As for the footy, I guess I see in myself that although I'm still a smartarse I don't actually buy into the negativity that much in the game day thread or elsewhere. Today I'm annoyed, maybe that's vicarious from EVERYONE else being pissed off but I'm not disappointed and haven't been in any of the losses. Maybe I've learnt to have very low expectations of this alley of clowns.

Did I mention Hynes can FRO!

Nicho was 10 times better than Trindall. When we were attacking the line 3 times he was DEMANDING the ball and Brailey went away from him. If I was to say who was our best player before it went to shit it was Nicho.

Anyway. We got f**king smashed. Again. I'm so f**king sick of getting f**ked on pop kicks. SORT IT OUT.

Good on Brailey. Perhaps he's smart enough to know Nicho doesn't cut it.

I'd be going Gabrael in the centers, Talakai to start at 13 and McIneffective to the bench.
He can have the 20 minute role.

Teig is not the 2nd rower I'd be looking to bench though.

And there is no f**king way I would have any room in the squad for Atkinson.
I'd rather play a man short.

Edit: And I'd be tempted to start Jesse over Herb.

I like talakai at centre has a good combo with Ronaldo

I believe you can still buy parking at the shops. I think it is like $65 or something so not cheap but it is right at the ground. I can't fix the other stuff.

Yeah I get it. We parked on Gannons for free at 4:30pm today though but you can't count on that. Unless you want to book in a 2km or under walk it isn't easy to plan hence the high fees. I believe it is higher than a ticket but cheaper if you buy in bulk.

We were absolutely monstered in contact in both attack and defence.
When we had the ball, they stopped us dead, turned us around so our head was facing our own goal line, and put us on our back.
When they had the ball, they bent the line, found their front and got a quick ptb.
Our halves and hooker were absolute dogshit.
Our kicking game was absolutely pathetic.
OK is an absolute plodding, useless pleb.
We look slow and weak apart from Sifa and AFB.

I also think this approach from other teams of racing off the line and belting the runner before he's taken 2 steps is over-rated.
I much prefer our philosophy...
Stand on on your heels and let them come to you. They may make 80 metres a set but you save heaps more energy from having to run up and back, up and back.

Yeah I agree - don’t know why these teams bother putting pressure on the kicker either. Much better to save energy and let them take their time to get their kicks just perfect - that way, our catcher doesn’t have to move, as they can land it right on their heads…

In both attack and defence…. ‘It’s alright, someone else will get there’ appears to be the attitude.
Unfortunately, that someone else is nearly always a player from the other team.

Go back and watch before it went to shit - Trindall was f**kING awful. Droppable. Nicho created space and set us up for points. He went to shit in the end for sure but Trindall drove me up the wall. been like it for weeks.. I get it nicho is the million dollar player and hasn’t played to his pay packet, but he is far from the worst. Also doesn’t help when our “experienced forward pack” seems to get bullied every second week and just lays down and cops it

Not sure if been mentioned already, but we created two chances down the right side in that first half and Kennedy bombed it twice by going back to the outside and dummying and going himself on both occasions and ignoring support on the inside.

Brailey was shit. Lots of wrong options, terrible passes and got bumped off a lot of tackles. Haven’t looked at the stats but he seemed to miss a lot or at least make terrible contact.
