Glad "the menace" stayed true to form for the last game just loved watching him dish out his special brand of annoying behaviour.

Kind of fitting to dominate the game, surrender the lead then snatch it back and hang on in a mad scramble to beat the Cronullafication curse.

The script was written for the hard luck story but this team just wouldn't have it. Winners.

Just a side note,this morning on ch7 the AFL besotted station,they made a big deal of one Shark's supporter arrested for drunkeness etc.One person out of near 84,000.Crisis !!!!!!!!! Of course their morning show.
Would they do that at an AFL G/F no way.

That was a great game, I really enjoyed that. Fully deserved win and the end of a hoodoo. The refs got out the way and let the game flow and without the wrestle the Storm can't win. The annoying thing is, when they throw the ball around and try and play a bit of footy, they are quite entertaining. But most of the time they play boring, conservative, dreadful football. He may be a good coach in terms of winning, but Bellamy's teams do nothing for the beauty of the game. Thank heavens you showed how they can be beaten.

You run them off their feet, moved the ball whenever you could so they couldn't set their gang tackles. You hit the line with such ferocity they couldn't hold you up in tackles and do their dance. You didn't give them to many 7 tackles sets and run the ball dead so you could set your defence. Good coaching from Flanno and good execution from the players.

Great stuff Sharkies and congratulations. Next year is the young Panther's turn (I hope) and hopefully the Storm dirge is beaten once more!

Bump, just watched the GF again. I think I missed this thread through an alcohol fuelled weekend that saw us take home the glory. A childhood dream come true, a fan for life though. I'll support the Sharks till my last breath. One or two more would be nice It's a great feeling.
