It’s just a funny continuation of a trend from last year.

Very frustrating. Had plenty of chances to win. good teams ice those plays at the end. Morris should have been standing deeper.

thought woods did well in his second stint. Uele and Rudolph were really good. fifita was terrible, will struggle to hold on to his starting spot by mid year. Williams is lazy and has so many dumb errors in his game. Little things like this you’d hope would be fixed in the off season? Sorensen was strong.

thought Ramien did ok. He was heavily marked but he took a lot of the tough carry’s out of our end, something Morris didn’t seem to do? should have just allowed him to go last week. dropped the ball with the line wide open and was standing way too flat on that last play.

So many things pissed me off in that game but y the f**k don’t we use Nikora in the middle of the ruck? Chad turned it back on the inside to a front rower a million times for nothing all last season and started again this year the same. Nikora leg speed, lines and hands would kill it around the ruck.

Kid f**king loved this team but was never given a shot, overlooked and passed on.

Thought the refs were awful tonight - Souths spent all off season whinging about wrestling, but they made the ruck very messy and slow all night, yet every single tackle the refs were shouting milking or locked in, and I’m not having that as being the case every single tackle.

Sharks threw the game away last 10 mins. Choked. Bit of a shame because they were the better team in the 2nd half.

Reynolds showed us today exactly what is lacking in Chads game. Pretty much every touch, takes 3 or 4 steps forward, it makes the defence have to prepare for him running the ball - that forward movement, however short and subtle, creates a moment of doubt in the defence and thus time and space wider out - Chad just does not engage the line consistently or with any threat.
Then you have Reynolds short and long kicking game - whenever Chad is about to kick the ball (even for a penalty to touch) looks like a prop who’s been thrown it on the last - he doesn’t even release the ball from his hands right, it almost looks like he just holds the ball out in front, let’s go of it and swings his leg towards it - then it’s pot luck what happens from there.
