We need more than Brown and Moses for Volkman and Twidle to solve what I've been seeing. Tuilagi will be targeted all season long by opposition coaches and playmakers if he's a regular starter, or even doing a 40min stint from the bench.

What are you, 12 years old typing in your mums basement. If you don’t like name calling and smart ass remarks, don’t go on social media, you don’t mind being combative so strange getting antsy about a remark .

To be honest, I'm a bit lost with what we were trying to achieve in that trial.

I assume it was nothing more than take a look at a few individuals and how many different positions they might be able to fill in at?

We chopped and changed players between positions that often it was impossible to work on team work in both attack and defence. It's not surprising we dropped a lot of balls and looked ordinary at times in defence.

I did spot plenty of weak points out there tonight though that's for sure.

It's really difficult to get an idea of what the 17 will be in Round 1 from that. Surely some of those blokes that only got 20 minutes at the end will be in our best 17.

I was very impressed with Williams though.

Have to say that performance has kind of tempered some of positivity on Ryles impact on the team.

There was just a complete lack of discipline across the park, especially from some of our more senior players.

Matto, Moretti, Kerr, Guymer were all disappointing. Penisini defensively was really at sea in that first half.
