He looks ready made to replace Junior.

But might get a go this year he was that impressive, Emu looked very good as well I still have hope he can make it with us.

Let him play against men in reserve grade then once he's acclimatised give him some 1st grade and see how he fairs...the signs are very good though

Actually I like "Big Sam" mate. He came down to Hawks training one night and was really good with the youngsters. Stayed back longer than he was supposed to and even played a game with the kids. I caught up with him in Brisbane one time (Magic Round 2023 I think) and he is a nice young man.

Latu was signed from Townsville 3 years ago, did his knee last year as did R Penisini and Miller -Stephen,Latu was rated and was signed for a further 2 years despite the operation.

Was it his knee or ankle?

At least a couple of them will make it as soon as Carty, Lane and Paulo finish up.
