Pryke won’t make it, imo. Very similar to Parker, but a couple of years younger. Guymer is much better than both of them.

I agree Parker will be a minimum wage player that you have as maybe 27-30.

On the Boods holding Smith up last year it was more that Boods was in the system alot longer so of course he was getting first shot..

People should be more annoyed that Boods was starting for cup at hooker Infront of Hands..

Boods also played ok last night defence was good and had some nice runs from dummy half.

Smith was ok he is more of a Reed type player and that's all we need when you have Moses/Brown in your side. Not sure where the comment was about him looking buggered was just before he came off he ran across the field on the Knights second try after halftime. If he was buggered doubt he does that.

Some over the top reactions to last night’s game. Didn’t we belt Penrith 36-0 in a trial a few years back? I’d take the result with a pinch of salt.

I think we had more FG players in that game and that was probably our only trial that year.

For last night there was some good signs for 2025 especially with the go forward and line speed.

Hope its a similar performance next week.

I didn't see enough of Saxon or Parker. The little I did they looked like plodders but I only saw 2 or 3 runs so can't judge to harshly. Tuivati and W.Latu ( I black booked 9mths ago) look like better prospects

Hands' versatility meant they could both start. Reserve grade isn't the place for practicing skills, that's what training is for. Reserve grade is for match fitness and testing/observation. We know this because Hands was brought in to first grade by Matt Arthur's dad while Matt Arthur wasn't. Where they played in reserve grade was irrelevant.

But the one time Hands started at hooker in reserve grade last year, Arthur came off the bench.

Played till he was injured. Will be in cup Same with Sam he probably will get a bench spot in the NRL
