Trindal was outstanding and hopefully when Hynes accepts he isn’t the best half he may then shine ( well I f**ken hope he does )

Agree. But the bench rotation hasn't been cooked since origin two years ago.
If you want to take the social media stance I'm all up for it.
Without Nicho we would not have got close to them. He and Tricky played an even hand across the whole attack structure.
Did either of them cost us the game defensively?

I honestly don’t know what Nicho did that was all that bad? They bashed us physically in defence and it wasn’t until the last 20-25 minutes when we actually played on the front foot for a little and trindall probably took over a little too much. We would have torn up most teams today with the shape we had.

Teig Wilton needs to just replay Liam Martin’s game on repeat for the next fortnight and try and replicate that aggression and absolute dominance. At the moment we have Temu Wilton (Martin).

He wasn't bad today mate. He just wasn't a million bucks. He rarely, if ever is. If that's the social media stance, then I guess that's where I'm at.

I'm not a merkin. I want to see him succeed. I just don't know that he has it in him.

What I'm saying to you is that we did not lose the game today because of him, he is not to blame, and if he was I'd be saying it.
It was having AFB and McInnes off at the same time. The same problem we've had in years gone by with Fitz with other players.
I'll state it now, from this point onwards those two cannot be off at the same time.
That is the point the Panthers gained momentum.

Dropped a kickoff and took a very poor option on a kick at the end, but a million snarks will do that. I don't think it's about what he does badly. Those things just highlight his attacking impotence. It's about being on $1mill a year and not doing enough good things. He doesn't create much, he doesn't kick much, he tackles too much and he doesn't seem to be "ahead of the game" like the elite halves. He's always so tentative in what he does. I won't be surprised if he's playing injured again. Right now. Only 4 kicks in general play and not kicking goals. He's running the ball a bit but he's one paced and not very elusive. He gets caught easily when he darts for gaps.

How does a dominant half take over too much? If Tricky doesn't take over we are not in that game.

Also, Hazelton should never be allowed at marker. He's a like a dartboard that only has bullseyes on it. Throw at it and you're gonna score big

He didn't win it for us though. He rarely does. He a cameo actor in a back alley theatre.

Yeah, the bench sucks. But when BHU and The Slug were on it didn't effect Nicho's game. He was doing little before and little after those changes.

Probably the show and go on the last.. he’s not new into first grade anymore, the good teams like Penrith aren’t going to fall for that. I’d say that was taking over too much. Hynes was on the left where Alomoti was out on his feet in that set. I’m not blaming Trindall by the way, he’d created enough throughout the game to demand the ball.

He's playing like a second string half stepping in for one of the first choice halves. Just filling a jersey like say Schneider would do if Cleary was out.

Which is fine if you're on 200k a year not marquee money.
