Agreed. I've been impressed with Volkman both games. Was also very good in Cup last year. His awareness picked up a number of intercepts last year and was fast enough to finish them off. Another strong option many are discounting. Lets go Ronald!

Volkman was my dark horse to start next to moses before we signed Pezet. As u said was very strong in cup last year and really didnt get an opportunity last year after starting the year in first grade poorly. I wouldve attributed some of that to the team being poor and also dylan brown offered no help as a halves partner.

After the way the Ibis played on the weekend I would be happy to see him take a wing spot. He would make enough meters rucking out of trouble..

Simmonson and JAC get dominated most of the time.

I think the ibis will get a spot on the extended bench mainly due to his utility. Unless bailey plays like shit or injured i cant see him taking the starting spot for the first few rounds

So I guess Kelly gets elevated after all then, with Russell shifting out on JAC's wing? Or go with the Simrani on the wing option (who I think people were suggesting in Simmonsson's place, for size)?

And is Simrani the Ibis... and if so why?

Yeah he finished the game at fullback.

At halftime Volkman replaced Moses. With 27 minutes to go, Papalii replaced Pezet at 6. Then with 12 to go, Pezet replaced Volkman and Talataina replaced Iongi, with Papalii going to fullback. Talataina went to 6 and with his second touch he set up Samrani's first try.

We are obviously not keen on Averillo at all. He’s desperate for a club a looking dragons bound according to media. I wonder why specifically Ryles is looking like in an outside back. Maybe he doesn’t think Averillo is better than what we have?

I wonder if this means we believe we can do better? Or also if we are advanced in talks with someone already for 2027?
