Massive game today lads. Don't know how to feel about it, whether to be confident or accept our fate.

Think we'll go down in a close one though.

Just strap yourselves in and enjoy the ride. It is going to be a wild one.

It is in the lap of the footy gods and those officiating and those bunkered down.

Soooooo ...... "I have a decision and am going to the board"

I reckon they are greasing up the pole for us right now.

Look I'm hopeful we'll win but not confident at all. I'm not a coward, I'll watch the game rather than wait for the result.

Canberra are going to score points that's for sure so we'll just need to limit them and get our attack firing.

I'll be watching...not at all confident, but if it's a heavy track, it will help us.

I'd rather it dry - our best footy this year has been on dry tracks during the day.

We are not the forward orientated team of recent years.

If we wanna beat the Raiders, it will be by creating chances & bloody well taking them!

Hardly a coward for watching, the reverse is true.

Not sure how anyone that loves the Sharks couldn't watch....geez, we've been waiting all year for this. We are top 4 FFS.

Get excited people!!!

I'm actually looking after 3 kids under 5 tonight so watching isn't an option. If was a coward I wouldn't follow the f**king merkins in the first place.

Rained on and off all night. Overcast at the moment and as you'd expect the ground is wet (my yard is a bog). It's not cold though. I'm a bit like some forumers. I've been trying to find that punters intuition that points to us winning. In our dim past we have been a much better underdog than leader. With backs against the wall we've won games . I remember the Broncos then Roosters matches a few years back when we were 24 points down and won. Not sure if we can conjure that up this time. The pressure is on the mucus and the crowd will be raucus so we have it all to do. But Canberra can start slow especially when the pressure is on as they try to keep things cooler. We have to bang in the points there and then. My guess is maybe a small lead to the good guys at oranges. Then the match will start and if we want this game we will need to hang tough. I think a wet boggy track suits that type of game. ALL ABOUT ATTITUDE TODAY.

Canberra are deserved favourites, but we certainly have a chance if we can hold onto the ball. They key I reckon is containing hodgson. Stop him and you can halt the momentum of that giant forward pack.

The back 3 need to be on song as well, Sticky loves an early kick and forcing us to play out of our end.

3 players who need to improve are Valentine Holmes, Jack Bird and Chad Townsend or we can forget beating the Raiders. Their attack is all too predictable and some poor reads and non commitment in defence are not good enough for semi final football.
Townsend in particular with throwing the dummy every second time he handles the ball. Bird's ball handling and passing lately has been sub standard.
What once was a deadly right hand attack has turned into an easy to defend cluster**k of dropped balls and bad passes
