We’ll Domenic Young is off to the Roosters so the Dolphins may look at him now and also now there is a void to fill at the Knights. He’ll get some interest for sure from those two Clubs you’d think.

So the Club has to think is Kade Dykes going to be ready to take over from Will Kennedy next season and is Sam Stonestreet going to be able to take over from Katoa next season?

Or do they sign them up on two year deals and say let’s see how things play out. I suppose it’s also about if they can make it work money wise. Depth is always good.

I don't think you can let WK walk when not knowing how Dykes will return. I'm not sure WK takes a short deal. The one thing we need to avoid is having them all off contract at the same time again. Having our entire back 5 off at once is brutal.

Agree. Kade doing his ACL this season has really made it difficult for the Club to assess him further this year.

Letting WK leave and saying KD will replace him with a few games of First Grade under his belt and coming back from a major knee injury would be very risky.

And yes having out entire back 5 come off contract in the same season is just plain crazy. I can never remember that sort of situation ever happening before. Luckily it looks like 3 out of the 5 are sorted.

Never bagged WK since he's been a regular. I think he's a great FB and getting better each season so I reckon they will prime KD to replace Moyzah who has also proved his importance in our lineup.
If Hynes signs long term we will be sitting pretty for quite a few years to come. Shit even Trindall looked good on the weekend, lots to like.

Seems to have a lot of footy smarts about him. Liked what I saw in his trial game. It was against only some reserve Newcastle scrubs but he knew what he was doing out there.
