If there was ever any proof needed of the mental weakness of this team, today is exhibit A.

At 28-12 and back to 13 men, it should have been a straightforward task to close the deal against a fragile Donks team. Instead the Sharks stuck the cue in the rack and got their pants pulled down. More lessons for the coach.

Speaking of the coach, WTF is that bench rotation. Puru, McInness, Brailey and Atkinson on at the same against Haas. Beyond bewildering.

The big development for this team since losing the semi against the Cows in 2022 has been ruthlessness. This is still the issue and it's getting worse this season. There is a complete lack of winners in this team. Some good players but no winners. No one with the mentality to do what it takes to get the job done when it's hard. It such a shame as this comp is there to be won.

Dogs - unproven in years
Raiders - see above with less talent
Warriors - see Raiders
Storm - not what they were

Taj Ford wraps it up for the Jets. Scores out wide right side. 24-12 now. Into BARTV overtime. no idea how long to go in other words

Sifa with the ball = good
Sifa defending in the centres = cannot be done anymore. He's a middle forward now who can be utilised wide with the ball for some variation.

As it stands though, don't think there's a single player in the whole club fit who can play there at the moment. A conundrum

I was going to say let's see a response next week. But these reserve graders are too soft to show anything. All of them including the miserable excuse for a coach are stealing from the club

That loss does hurt with the ladder so congested. Would have kept us in touch with the 4. Although, most teams around us have had more byes.

byes:
Dogs 3
Raiders 1
Storm 3
Warriors 2
Broncos 2
Sharks 1
Panthers 2
I’m feeling pretty doom and gloom but we’re still only 1 win (and a lot of for and against) behind than the Storm, they’re on 9 wins and we’re on 8. I don’t think we’ll make top 4 but if we start playing like a respectable team then it’s still in reach.

But then again our for and against is really bad and we’re only 2 wins ahead of the Rabbitohs who are 15th. Weird season, it’s still wide open. Which really adds to how disappointing our campaign has been. Penrith’s reign coming to a close, Roosters in a slight rebuild, Storm not looking as clinical as most years, if there was a favourable year to be in contention it’s this one
