A lot of positives I think considering our injury list.

Positives looking ahead as well with our young guys.

And we need to remember we have a right side as well. No SJ and our right side ceases to exist.

FMD this joint. That was a great effort. 6 players with less than 6 games experience. Imagine if somebody said last year we are bring on 6 U20 players during one game. This joint would have gone into meltdown.
Great effort & I can only imagine what the youngsters learned from Dugan on playing tough.
Yeah if only we had another dozen Dugans....worst buy Flanno ever made..... but he plays tough...FMD.

What DTTC said....Kyle found out he was playing in the warm up. $3 mill sitting on the sidelines including the 2 most creative players in the team & lose Woods. I think it was a bloody fair effort coming out of the humidity of NQ last week.

With Moylan & Johnson both out, I’m not sure what people expected.

We took it to them & in previous years they crumble, this year they didn’t.

No shame in that performance.

Agreed

So last nights injuries;

Woods, foot. Could be a while. Replacement, Uele?

Morris, pec. Anybody got any news on this one? If he’s out next week who comes in? Aaron Gray?

Just watched. The fact we were still in the game with 10 to go speaks volumes. We did some great stuff. We were gutsy. Proud to be a supporter when we roll a team out minus a third of our salary cap and compete with a team that will play finals this year.

Side note, those f**king commentators were that biased it was atrocious. Some of the bullshit coming out of their mouths was so far from reality I just couldn't believe it. Blocker and Bwaiff have about a third of a brain between them.

Frenzy.

Bit rough on Townsend.

He had little around him. Flanagan isn’t very good and takes no heat off him.

The forwards were dominated again. 4th week in a row.
Bakuya sucks as a starter.
Sorensen is trash
Williams is ok but needs more minutes or something.
Prior to the glue factory
Capewell is only keeping Graham’s spot warm.

Again we struggled and fought in the Rick while standing. Slow play the balls all game from minute 1. Took all the time away from the halves. As soon as we had a quick play the ball, Brailey ran well, but had zero support pushing up.

Havent read all the threads yet but I’m a bit concerned Woodsie has a decent Lisfrancs?

Did you see the MOI?

Agree mate. Was just tired of every kick going to Ferguson.
Xerri showed some good signs as well considering no ball. Certainly no clean ball.

No wrist slitting from me. It is also Round 4 and we are 50/50 never fielding full strength.
All looks promising to me.

Good effort.

J Brailey coming along very well.

Not sure when they decide Bukuya was a middle forward, prefer on the edge.

Gotta love these threads - it’s like a pack of Sybil’s with multiple personalities, “happy happy joy joy” one minute then hellboy antics the next.
Didn’t see the game as was pie eyed from a long afternoon boozing but saw the score, cursed then fell back asleep on the lounge.
A loss is a loss but by the sounds of it, we were well up against it from the get go. Taking SJ out of the side and slotting in young flange has to be a major effect on the state of play - as well as the other injuries etc
I guess people’s views on bringing through some young talent is coming to fruition sooner rather than later, probally not ideal against the roosters

Here's a challenge for Stakey.
Can we do a comparison of total first grade games experience for this weeks side compared to the total first grade games experience to the side that played roosters rnd 1 last year?
Include kennedy & exclude dugan from this week.

FTR
Team will be

Morris
Katoa
Capewell/Gray
Xerri
Chad
johnno
Feki
