I normally tune in the next day to the thread but jinxed it by checking in a half time. I get it with punters being upset, but flogging the likes of Hiroti who is on a bare bones contract and a battler at best, ain’t the answer. Great first half but just couldn’t hold up under the weight of some bruising smashing from Melbourne and average options, goal kicking and some amusing reffing

Will be good to have Nikora there tonight, hiroti wasn’t that bad, still needs to invest in longer studs though, losing finucane was massive and I thought we were in it up to our eyeballs until Williams put it down, hope we come out firing on Thursday that will be the true marker for me if we can bounce back.

Nicho defended poorly. He was smoked by Munster but most guys would be today.
Again he was caught multiple times with the ball on the last
His kicks to me showed limited game management and we’re reminders of chads kick and hope.
When he ran he went sideways first. Like we hated with Chad. Start of the season he moved forward then ball played.

Mciness I was concerned as an edge player before a ball was kicked. He proved it.
He tried 100%.

So how did a winger, who was basically solid, not great, but not bad either, get the vitriol that he does? when the others contributed more to the loss.
Honestly, do people here actually have their own view on the game, or is just a group attack? its really bizarre.

Few things of note for me which have been touched on already in this thread - middles can't play wider, trindall is wasting a bench spot, williams will be no loss if he were to leave, nicho's defence isn't up to scratch and moylan really needs to be replaced for next season.

We're a good side but not on the level of Melbourne and Penrith. Yet.

Me either. Last year that would have been 60-70 points.

85% completions and 85% tackle efficiency are just stats but they tell the story of the amount of improvement.

As I said before the game, this was a barometer game and it was going to be difficult to disappoint me.

Good wake up call to get AFAIC. Now know exactly where we are in this comp.
