That's how I saw it.
The 4th plays always did the same, no variation, like lets see what happens.
Defensive patterns the same
Keep them out.
Last try by them was BS, but hey it only affected for and against.

I honestly feel that they were practising certain plays in circumstances .
I could be wrong, and I have been many times, but really thats how I saw the way we played.

If they were playing like it was a training run that was the wrong call.

I saw them as being completely bereft of ideas in attack.

I struggle to think of a game where we dominated with possession, run meters and attacking opportunities to only score 2 trys.

All it takes is one player to come out the line and our players shit themselves because they're unable to read the game and only able to run that 1 robotic backline play. Though if trindall did try a kick or a long pass he'd probably throw an intercept or flog it over the deadball line, he is really playing like utter crap.

I love Tricky but his form has fallen off a cliff. Yes his bombs are sweet and his defence is solid but his choices in attack over the last month have been pretty diabolical. Nicho has actually been far better than him over the last month or so though the bar is set pretty low by Tricky atm.

You know you are on a winner when the million dollar half with no kicking game is slightly less shit than the other guy whose only redeeming feature is a decent kicking game.

I’m not pissed at the performance.

Our middles rolled through them all game and Munro dropped every f**ken bomb that we kicked.

It was so easy it almost made it impossible to move away from.

All season we have criticised forced passes, rushed footy, short kicks into legs and not going to a teams weakness.

I didn't mean they treated it as a training run, I meant it as exactly as you said. The same plays again and again, like they would in practice until they got it right.

Fitzgibbon touched on it in the press conference that they were really focused on their attitude being right, most likely after the roosters game in Gosford. It felt like they were so focused on their attitude being right and not f**king up that they played so within themselves. Other teams lost this weekend that should have won. We got the 2 points, that’s all that matters. They know they weren’t great, but credit also needs to go to Souths. Regardless of the injuries, they had a red hot dig. I was very impressed with their defensive line abd structures. Really solid. Way better than some of the dross a few of them other teams are throwing up.
