Day Three

A consensus had been reached and somebody was going to be hanged. They did things simply in the wilds - no headsman necessary; just a length of rope.

But as their quarry neared the makeshift gallows, the thunderous sound of horseman approaching brought them up short. A sea of Lannister red came into view and at its head, King Joffrey and his mother, Cersei.

"What is the meaning of this?" the Queen Regent demanded.

"We've found this one guilty of crimes against the Realm," explained one of them helpfully, "And we're here to see justice done".

"This is madness," Joffrey howled, "Put an end to it!"

The Red Coats and Kingsguard came on with swords drawn and the mob had no choice but to disperse.
