The Stark bastard did not need to speak to Ghost to make his intentions known. The wolf loped off to guard any other exits that Roose's room might have. Unsheathing his sword, he slipped into the room.
Roose was sitting with his back to the door, and a man Jon Snow did not recognize was speaking to him. Seeing Jon's entry, he gave a shout of surprise.
The pounding of feet was ample warning to Snow that the guards were on the way. Roose wouldn't die on this night.
Bursting out of the Dreadfort at a run, Jon and Ghost raced while the guards gave chase.
"I'll have your head, Stark bastard!" shouted Roose as he joined his men in the hunt, "I'll kill you like I killed your brother!"

Back in his chambers, Roose thanked the man who had saved his life and sent him about his business. He then turned to the whore he'd had shipped in for the evening.
